Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented System Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining system performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users to keep business operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT systems, servers, and applications

• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner

• Install, configure, and update operating systems and software

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

• Perform regular system checks, backups, and maintenance

• Ensure system security and compliance with best practices

• Document system configurations and support procedures

• Collaborate with network and technical support teams

Requirements

• Proven experience in system support, IT support, or similar roles

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)

• Understanding of system administration and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with virtualization and server management

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good communication and organizational abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash)

• Familiarity with monitoring and backup tools

• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, Microsoft, etc.)
